Abstract: Aim of this paper is to investigate the characterizations of the concept of (α, β)-fuzzy ideals of left near-rings, where α, β are any two of {∈, q, ∈ ∨q, ∈ ∧q } with α≠∈ ∧q by using belongs to relation (∈) and quasi-coincidence with relation (q) between fuzzy points and fuzzy sets. An (α, β)-fuzzy ideal, we can consider twelve different types of such structures because there are three types of α and four types of β. But in this paper, mainly the types (∈, ∈), (∈, ∈ ∨q), (q, ∈ ∨q), ( ∈ ∨q, ∈ ∨q) are considered. We also discussed some characterizations of (∈, ∈ ∨qk)-fuzzy subnear-rings and ideals of near-rings.
